The words and melody ideas for this song were written by middle school student
Andrew Pariss as an epilogue to his play "Avenge of Germinator." After
composing a sketch of the song, I was joined in the recording studio by
Andrew's playwriting mentor (who sings in this recording) and a guitar
player friend who helped create the final version. The song was sung live along
with a recording of the music; during the last stanza, the whole acting
company joined in a led a sing-a-long with the audience.
